We are delighted to have George Bevan as our guest music director for our Spring concert this year. 

George studied at the Royal College of Music with Richard Popplewell (organ) and Yu Chun Yee (piano) before embarking on a career in teaching. After Pangbourne College and Rugby School he was appointed as Director of Music at Wycombe Abbey School, subsequently moving to Bath in 2009 to take up the position of Director of Music at Monkton Combe School.

Since last year he has been a freelance musician, and he is already in high demand as a piano teacher, accompanist, organist and choral director.

He is the organist at St John the Evangelist in central Bath and is accompanist to Bath Choral Society and the annual Mid-Somerset Festival.
